In an increasingly divisive society, the one thing that seems to bring people (from all different walks of life) together is music. Ever since the launch of Hard Rock Daddy, all of our contributors started out as readers of the site. Because there is so much passion out there for music, and audience participation makes things more interesting, Hard Rock Daddy will be launching a series of new features designed to showcase the passion of our readers.
On Thursday, May 3, 2018, Hard Rock Daddy will be launching a new feature called “MY FAVORITE ALBUM.” Choosing just one album for any music fan is next to impossible, so this feature will be limited to a specific artist. This still presents a challenge for longtime fans of a band, and that’s what makes this fun. It will undoubtedly make for some interesting debates.
One example of this would be choosing your favorite Van Halen album. With an outstanding catalog, this will not be an easy choice for fans of the band. When you factor in the vastly different styles of David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar, picking one album is even more challenging.
“MY FAVORITE ALBUM” will be a regular feature from Hard Rock Daddy contributors and readers, in addition to a number of current rock artists.
HARD ROCK MUSIC TIME MACHINE has been a regular feature for quite some time. To make things more interesting, the feature is going to be rebranded and focused on specific themes. More details to follow on this in the coming weeks.
MUSIC DISCOVERY MONDAY has been a regular feature to showcase “new” music from a variety of artists. Finding contributors to submit reviews on a weekly basis was a tall ask. Rather than have a few contributors reviewing songs on a weekly basis, we are going to be opening this up to Hard Rock Daddy readers. Like HARD ROCK MUSIC TIME MACHINE, this feature is also going to be rebranded.
Last, but certainly not least, is a new feature called FEEL GOOD FRIDAY. With all of the negativity and divisiveness going on these days, this column will showcase songs that help to lift your spirit and wash away the worries of the world. This will also be open to Hard Rock Daddy readers, contributors, and artists.
Since our launch in 2013, Hard Rock Daddy has always been driven by a passion for music, both current and classic. By giving our readers more of a voice, the goal is to build a thriving community of passionate music fans who want to share their views in greater detail than music memes on social media allow.
