TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT – Cover Albums
JIM – takes it because there have been some great cover albums.
DON – takes it because he likes some of what has been released, although he does think that most of them end up in the 99 cent cut-out bin where they belong.
EDDIE – takes It because he thinks that it’s a good way for bands to get introduced and played on radio, with one caveat. The cover version should be their own take, not just trying to play the original.

GUESTS – Scott Ian, Charlie Benante and Frank Bello (Anthrax)
Often times, Eddie has on artists that he has a personal relationship with, but most probably are not as close to him as the members of Anthrax. Although most interviews do have a casual tone, there is usually a bit more questioning about projects that are being worked on. This week, it really felt like the show just had six hosts who love to break each other’s balls (which was very entertaining).
Eventually, each of the guys discussed what they have going on, but before they did, they talked about attending Eddie’s wedding. Scott didn’t make it because he was in L.A., but Frank and Charlie were there and talked about sitting with Ace Frehley. Ace had told Eddie before the wedding that he wanted to make a low-key entrance, but he ended up walking in half-way through, loud and drunk.
Here is what each of the guys from Anthrax are up to…
SCOTT – Guest-starring on Walking Dead as a Zombie, talked about his book – I’m The Man: The Story of That Guy from Anthrax, and also working on a side project called Motor Sister.
CHARLIE – Coming out with his own line of coffee called Charlie’s Coffee.
FRANK – Working on a new Altitudes & Attitude full album (following up the band’s debut EP).
