Aranda’s third single off of their Stop The World album – “One More Lie” – has been getting a lot of airplay recently. The single is the follow-up to “Undone” and the raw, emotional fan favorite “Satisfied.” An exclusive acoustic version of “Satisfied” has just been released on GuitarWorld.com (see video below).
The video features Oklahoma brothers Daemon and Gabe Aranda sitting on bar stools atop a rooftop with the New York City skyline as the backdrop. The performance will leave you mesmerized by Daemon’s incredible, tortured vocals as he taps into the pain and sadness of an emotional breakup. Gabe’s vocal harmonies create moments of beauty that serve as a temporary distraction from the pure anguish of the song. The story painted by the lyrics of “Satisfied” makes you inclined to loathe the person responsible for causing so much pain, but thankful in an odd way for inspiring such a brilliant song. It’s no wonder that “Satisfied” was included in the Top 12 Hard Rock Songs of 2012.
It takes a special kind of talent to bring so much energy to a song with nothing more than an acoustic guitar and vocals. Based on their songwriting and this performance, hard rock music fans will undoubtedly agree that the sky is the limit for the Aranda brothers who continually leave their fans…“Satisfied.”
